New Year, New Studio, New Work
New Originals and Available Prints
I hope your Holidays were peaceful and happy. I made an appearance at Chloe Fine Arts in San Francisco in December for their opening and a group show. It was a fine event and their energy is encouraging in this challenging time for the arts. I've been very busy in my new studio working on a number of commissions and some new work that I'm very excited about including The Golden Bear, The Kingdom, and The Leap - all featuring bears. All of my finished paintings are on the website in the Animal Gallery - see them here. The image below is of The Swimming Hole, an original oil on canvas recently completed and now available through Borsini-Burr . More coming soon.

The Rangers Sculpture
Joins AM and The Exchange in Collection
Our new bronze sculpture program has been very successful. My publisher Dreamworld Art has added The Rangers, based on a print edition that sold out very quickly in 2009. Here's a view from behind. Click here to see them, and their brethren in in the Animal Gallery on my website.

So Many Other Things to Share
The Blog and Upcoming Events
Thanks to those of you who have been following my Dreamstudio blog. I'm enjoying it and find the interaction energizing. Join us if you haven't yet. I'm also publishing the blog on Facebook so you can visit me there as well.
I currently have a month long show called Views from Inside and Out with Chloe Fine Art in San Francisco which features original landscapes as well as some imaginary realism animal work. Check our Events page on the website for details. As part of the show, I'll be giving a talk on February 27th at the gallery. If you are in the area please try to make it. The image below is Passage, one of the pieces in the show.
Another upcoming event is San Francisco Zoo's Zoofest - their annual fundraiser. I am honored they asked me to participate in their live auction, and am most pleased to be contributing with a print I'm donating for the event. The zoo does good work in their enrichment programs for the animals - finding ways to keep them stimulated and surprised every day with training that is based on their natural behaviors and instincts. I've also been invited to meet the Grizzly Sisters at the zoo. There will be photos of that you can be sure.
One last item for all of you rabbit fans - Pomegranate Communications is doing a children's jigsaw puzzle of The Kiss. More on that as it get's closer to release.
My very best regards,
Robert
